Despite hints of his return in the upcoming movie Thor: Love and ThunderChris Hemsworth, who is well-known for his work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has expressed doubt regarding his ability to reprise the role of Thor.

Chris Hemsworth's decision to play Thor in upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe endeavors, such as a potential Thor 5 film or other chances, seems to be up in the air. The following Avengers generation is given a lot of attention in the upcoming Multiverse Saga of the MCU. After Steve Rogers and Tony Stark left, the original Avengers team had some replacements, but Thor is still one of the few original members. Hemsworth's most recent appearance was in Phase 4's Thor: Love and Thunder, which ended with the announcement that Thor would be making a comeback soon.

However, there may be a concerning development regarding the Australian actor's involvement in the MCU in the future. Hemsworth talked about his experience filming Extraction 2 and how he handled the most challenging action scenes he had ever faced in a Total Film Magazine interview. In a discussion about the novel stunts he pulled off in that film, Hemsworth stated his desire to use them in a future Marvel project, should he be given the chance to do so.

"It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’m not exaggerating. At the end of a take, you’re sucking air like you never have before, and everyone drops to their knees. But it’s so much more rewarding. I would love to take this style and integrate it into a Marvel film, if I was ever to do another one."
